ReplyDeleteI do agree, people should pick a major that is a personal passion it makes the career more enjoyable. Desire for both career security and personal fulfillment I believe are excellent arguments for your paper. Good luck on your paper!!
ReplyDeleteSometimes it really does take diving into your major to figure out what you truly want to do. It's one thing to have an idea of what a field is like from the outside, but it's a whole different experience once you're actually immersed in it. The hands-on experience, the deeper understanding of the subject, and the exposure to different aspects of the field can really help you pinpoint your interests and passions.
ReplyDeleteI've never really been a person who's interested with the marketing side of sports and entertainment, but the way you broke down how sports marketing requires you to keep up to date with public relations and the newest digital media, I can see how it may appeal to someone who may be uncertain about choosing a major, as it may cause them to get into the competitive side of sports advertising and reap it's great financial incentives.
ReplyDeleteBrief but great paragraph that advocated well for sports marketing, but I can't help but notice lack of quotes. I do agree that this would be a good major for indecisive students, especially who have trouble balancing a major that excites them and one that makes money. You get a little bit of both with sports marketing. Great work
